C.J. Pfau

C.J. Pfau co-founded Pfau & Company Realtors in 2000 after building a strong foundation in banking, mortgage processing, residential construction, and nine years in the title industry, including three years as a title company branch manager.

That unique progression of experience continues to shape the practical perspective, steady guidance, and attention to detail she brings to every client relationship. Few real estate professionals have worked in so many facets of the home buying and selling process before entering real estate sales.

Today, C.J. oversees the day-to-day progress of every transaction from contract through closing, ensuring timelines stay on track, details are handled carefully, and clients remain informed throughout the process.

Her role provides structure, continuity, and confidence during one of the most important stages of every transaction. Her title industry experience allows her to anticipate potential issues, coordinate the many moving parts of a transaction, and help keep the closing process moving smoothly. 

C.J. also leads buyer representation for the firm.

She works closely with clients to understand their goals, evaluate properties realistically, and structure offers that support both the immediate purchase and the property’s long-term value. She helps buyers look beyond surface appeal to consider condition, market position, future resale potential, and the terms needed to make informed decisions with confidence.

Her approach reflects the philosophy behind the firm’s Value Creation System—creating value through informed decisions, careful preparation, and deliberate action throughout every stage of the transaction.

During the Great Recession, Jon and C.J. spent several years purchasing, improving, and reselling homes. That hands-on experience continues to shape the practical insight she brings to property condition, renovation potential, buyer appeal, and long-term value.

Jon and C.J. collaborate on every transaction, combining their complementary experience to strengthen strategy, improve communication, enhance negotiation, and create better opportunities for the buyers and sellers they represent.

Born and raised in Taylor, Texas, C.J. purchased her first home at age 19 and remains closely connected to the people and communities she has known for decades.

She values the opportunity to continue serving friends, families, and referrals throughout Central Texas with the preparation, care, and personal involvement that have defined the company from the beginning.
