Jon Pfau co-founded Pfau & Company Realtors in 2000 and has been licensed since 1991.

More than three decades of representing buyers and sellers through changing market cycles have shaped the strategic perspective, market judgment, and disciplined approach he brings to every client relationship.

His experience has reinforced a simple belief: successful outcomes are rarely accidental—they are the result of thoughtful preparation, deliberate positioning, informed negotiation, and sound decision-making throughout the transaction. 

Jon leads seller representation, marketing strategy, and business development for the firm.

He works closely with sellers to identify opportunities to strengthen a property’s market position, improve buyer appeal, and develop marketing strategies designed to attract qualified buyers while maximizing negotiating leverage. His focus extends well beyond bringing a property to market. It begins with understanding how preparation, pricing, presentation, and timing work together to influence buyer perception and the final result.

His approach reflects the philosophy behind the firm’s Value Creation System—seeking opportunities to create value through informed decisions, careful preparation, thoughtful positioning, and deliberate action throughout every stage of the transaction.

During the Great Recession, Jon and C.J. spent several years purchasing, improving, and reselling homes. That hands-on experience further strengthened their understanding of property preparation, buyer perception, renovation decisions, market positioning, and the many factors that influence both immediate appeal and long-term value.

Jon and C.J. collaborate on every transaction, combining their complementary experience to strengthen strategy, improve communication, enhance negotiation, and create better opportunities for the buyers and sellers they represent.

Born in Austin and raised there through junior high, Jon later attended high school in Florence before studying at Tarleton State University and operating a cattle business on his family’s ranch.

He began his real estate career with Century 21 Nations in Round Rock before continuing with J.B. Goodwin Realtors and Prudential Owens Realty, experiences that helped shape the representation and business philosophy he continues to bring to clients today.

Decades of living and working throughout Central Texas have given him lasting familiarity with the homes, acreage properties, ranches, and communities that define the region. 

Pfau & Company Realtors serves buyers and sellers throughout Williamson, Burnet, and Travis counties to include the surrounding Central Texas Hill Country.
